Cup Rules

1. Map Selection

Maps: mp_beach, mp_base, mp_assault, mp_village, mp_ice, te_frostbite

Maps picked for games by Elimination, lower seed eliminates first, the last two maps left will be the two maps played.

Lower seed then picks which map is played first and higher seed picks whether to attack or defend.

 

2. Draws

Draws CAN Happen in the Group Stage.

In the event of a draw in the playoffs, teams must eliminate from the remaining unplayed maps to decide the overtime map - lower seed eliminates first again.

It is then a standard ABBA on the deciding map, if it is still a draw after these two rounds, you continue to play single AB rounds on the same map until someone is leading by a single round.

 

3. Players

The use of any cheat or hack is strictly prohibited and may result in team disqualification - do not recruit suspicious players.

Players must wear their well known nick during gameplay on WTV and shoutcasted games, using fakenicks is prohibited at these times and will result in a round loss.

Communication with any admin must be done with respect, arguments over decisions is fine but no personal insults.

 

4. Teams

In the event a team needs a merc for any match, opponents permission must be asked of the individual being used.

Note: Mercs are allowed, but if opponent has a problem with the skill difference of the merc to the team/player who is being replaced, they must tell an admin and/or ask team to find another merc.

All players on a team must wear matching respectable tags, use of obscene or potentially insulting tags is prohibited.

Organisation of games is down to team captains, games will be forced by admins if a match is not organised on schedule.

 

5. Gameplay

No purposeful door blocking by revives or other means. (STANDING in doorways like axis spawn on beach is valid)

No Blocking of opening doors. (like Assault garage doorblock)

No gate pass of objectives. (like Village gate near truck)

No weapon glitching, ie invisible flamer.

No team weapon boosting of ANY kind, be it smg or explosive. A round loss may be given to any team.

Stacking is allowed, but towers must not be more than two players, ie wall boost on beach is fine.

 

6. Server

Cup Servers must be used, any use of a non-cup server will simply result in the game being void, if you need a server contact an admin.

Server crashes will be dependent on how the server crashed and time remaining / or what half of SW round it was on for an ADMIN decision. If a server crash happens and teams cannot come to an agreed decision please contact an admin asap.
